Pointe Work Ballet (IDTA)

The pointe work class goes hand in hand with the Intermediate Ballet syllabus. This is for the stronger ballet student who has already participated in ballet exams and come up through the grading. Students attending should be ready for the hard work pointe demands and have a strong physique.

This class works on technique plus the pointe work required for the Intermediate syllabus.

Show Term Notice
As we are currently in our show term, new students will not be participating in the performance. However, your child is very welcome to join classes, make new friends, and get to know their teachers and our studio environment.

They will participate fully in all class activities, making this a great opportunity to build confidence, develop skills, and get ready for the new term starting in September.

A 3-week trial is available for £27.00 - thereafter, UDC will invoice for the remaining weeks left in the term

On enrolment, there is a £20.00 one-off registration fee, which includes our bespoke t-shirt

The 3-week trial is a risk-free way for your budding dancer to try the class before committing to a whole term.
If you would like to sign your little dancer up, click the booking link above to book our 3-week trial.

This class follows the IDTA [International Dance Teachers Association]. The Pointe work section is connected to the Intermediate syllabus and prepares our students for examinations. These are examined by an IDTA external examiner. They will learn set exercises in a fun but disciplined atmosphere. This class prepares our students for vocational training.

The IDTA exams hold UCAS points
